Product Details:-

AccuSure Thumb Splint(or “thumb splica / spica”) is a brace designed to immobilize the thumb (especially at the carpometacarpal (CMC) and/or metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints) while allowing some movement of the fingers. It’s often used for thumb injuries (sprains, ligament damage, fractures) or to provide support during healing.

Uses

  • Thumb sprains / ligament injury (e.g. ulnar collateral ligament)
  • Thumb base joint (CMC) pain / arthritis — as supportive brace
  • After thumb fracture / surgical repair where immobilization is needed
  • Postoperative thumb support (after tendon repair, reconstruction)
  • Preventive / support use in cases of overuse or repetitive thumb strain

Pros & Advantages

  • Provides targeted immobilization to the thumb while allowing finger mobility
  • Universal / left-right capability makes it easier to stock / use
  • Likely lighter and more comfortable than full cast or heavy braces
  • Adjustable fit lets you fine-tune support level
  • Probably cost-effective relative to more complex braces
