The LifeWear Lumbo-Sacral Belt (often called LS Belt) is a support belt designed for the lower back / lumbar + sacral region. It’s meant to relieve lower back pain, provide compression and stabilization, help prevent sudden jerks or strain, and aid in posture and daily activities when your lower back is under stress.

Typical uses include:

• Mild to moderate lower back pain / discomfort (from posture, lifting, standing, sitting).
• Support during recovery from strain / sprain or after light injuries.
• Preventive use or for tasks that put load on the lower back (lifting, chores, long standing / walking) .
• Helping stabilize spine posture when sitting or standing, or reduce movement that aggravates pain.

How to Use 

Here are tips for getting the best from this belt:

• Choose the correct size: measure around your waist / lower back (where the belt will sit) and match with size chart. Snug but not too tight.
• Position the belt so that the back splints align with the lumbar region, cover the small of back, and the front/pads sit comfortably over abdomen without pushing.
• Use the dual straps to adjust tension: tighten until you feel support and reduction in pain or strain, but so that breathing is not impeded and comfort is maintained.
• Wear during times of activity: lifting, bending, or prolonged standing / sitting. Remove or loosen during rest or sleep (unless advised by a doctor).
• Maintain hygiene: hand-wash gently with mild soap; air-dry; avoid exposure to extreme heat which may damage elastic or plastic stays.
• Monitor skin under belt: take breaks if there is redness or irritation.
